A LIFE THAT MADE US ALL BETTER
Chris's Big-hearted Legacy
Chris had a way of making people feel like they belonged - instantly and completely. He was goofy, sarcastic, and endlessly big-hearted, the kind of person who showed up without being asked and took care of people in quiet, steady ways that meant everything. His friends were his family, and he treated them that way - whether that meant lending a hand, cracking a perfectly timed joke (or even an un-perfectly timed joke), or just being there when it mattered most.
He loved his people fiercely. His family, his friends, his hockey family, his gaming crew - if you were in Chris’s orbit, you felt it. He found joy in the simple, good things: his dogs, long days outside, his Jeep, time on his hobby farm with Valentine and Bonnie, and any excuse to connect with the people he loved - whether in person or across the country with a headset on.
But more than anything, Chris loved Katie. He loved her so freaking much - loved making her giggle and making her happy in all the little, everyday ways. The way he showed up for her was just who he was: all in, no hesitation, full heart.
Chris leaves behind a community that is stronger, closer, and better because of him. And the way we take care of each other going forward - that’s part of his legacy too.
